Hoppecke is the leading specialist for industrial battery systems and at the same time the largest battery manufacturer in European ownership. While the parent firm was founded in Germany in 1927 as a family-run enterprise by Carl Zoellner – carrying the motto ‘Power from innovation’ – the UK company Hoppecke Industrial Batteries was formed in the early 1980s, based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire.
